The final nine tutorials in my Working with Data in ASP.NET 2.0 tutorial series have been published. These final nine tutorials examine a variety of advanced data access scenarios, from using stored procedures in the Data Access Layer to creating Typed DataSets that use JOINs or query tables that include computed columns. - Adding Additional DataTable Columns [VB | C#] - in certain scenarios you may want to add queries to a TableAdapter that return columns not returned by the main query. This tutorial examines how to accomplish this without causing problems down the road.
- Working with Computed Columns [VB | C#] - there are some wrinkles that arise when creating a DataTable from a query that includes computed columns. This tutorial examines those wrinkles and looks at workarounds.

- Creating Stored Procedures and User-Defined Functions with Managed Code [VB | C#] - with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 it is possible to created managed stored procedures and UDFs. In short, these are stored procedures and UDFs written in C# or Visual Basic! This tutorial looks at how to create, deploy, and debug managed database objects.
