On Saturday, September 10th University of California - San Diego Extension will be putting on a one-day lecture serving as an introduction to .NET version 2.0! We'll be discussing what's new in version 2.0 along with tips for migrating your existing applications. The event will be held at the Salk building in UC-San Diego's beautiful campus.
The day of lectures includes four talks and a speaker's panel / wrap-up discussion. The speakers at this event include:
- Michele Leroux Bustamante - Michele is an accomplished consultant, trainer, and speaker, a Microsoft MVP and RD, an INETA speaker, a speaker at numerous conferences (TechEd, DevConnections, Software Developer Conference, etc., etc.), and long-time UCSD Extension instructor.
- David McCarter - a well-known author (David McCarter's VB Tips and Techniques and VB Tips and Tricks) and speaker, David is a long-time UCSD Extension instructor and leads the San Diego .NET Developers Group.
- Scott Mitchell - your humble narrator
These talks cover smart clients, ASP.NET 2.0, the .NET Framework version 2.0, and language migration. The day-long lecture runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM with lunch included. All this for a scant $95!!
