Internally ATT has tried to roll out many applications that are similar but were almost always a failure. WebEx isn't perfect but in a world of less-than, it more than suits the needs and delivers good value.

re: Two Monitors Are Better Than One, But Are Three Better Than Two?

I've never been inclined to add a third monitor. Like you, I suspect that it would just sit there gathering dust. Two monitors has made a huge improvement and I wouldn't want to go back to a single screen set up but I think a third would just be a distraction. But as you say, there are certain tasks and industries that require three monitors, sometimes even more.

I had one question about it though, in Part 1 it states that you are using 0.25 as an estimated 15 miles, how would I add a radius dropdown so the user can select the radius and add it to the sql query? Unfortunately, I have been having issues opening the .mdf file so I can't see any stored procedures, db columns, etc.

I have a VPS account with them, which you would expect would be better as I pay a few hundred dollars per quarter. The technicians try but the services is terrible as best, chat support is defiantly a failing grade, 45 minutes to add a forwarding e-mail address in their new platform, to be only told that he has recreated the error. Our last issue just got fixed yesterday when they migrated our account to their new system and our website and company we were completely shut down for 4 days, no website, no database, we had a ticket and phone calls put in on Friday & Saturday and by Monday I was calling them personally as no action was taken,

The level 1 level 2 level 3 and senior engineer support staff and still no website. Lost over $3,000.00 in revenue in the past 4 days, I would guess over 25,000.00 in the 4 years with little mishaps and mistakes.

The new Control panel is “new looking” but extremely slow and confusing, could be that it was not even working. I’ve now been pushed over my limit of being a 5 years customer and decided to go to a better quality webhosting dedicated even if it is $400+ monthly. I have chatted with Peer1 on many occasions but did not do the jump, but I’m at my wits end and I hope that this will help someone else thinking of dealing with webhost4life. I personal lost well over 40 hours dealing with unnecessary issues with webhost4life and I’m a CEO, my IT guys have spent a lot more time dealing with them and at $25,00 to $30.00 per hour I don’t even want to add up the lost productivity and expenses. I’m guessing a few weeks to prepare to move our account so any suggestions are appreciated, were windows based.

I would write a book about the past 5 years of my experiences with them but I would be here for a week solid with my comments and examples. Companies can not afford to be messing around with their web provider solutions. The losses have been great! The last compensation they offer for being completely down for 4 days was two months free ( pay for 2 of the next 4 months in the billing quarter. No thanks! To stay with this company anymore would mean to much stress and worry that our site would be down again for the “5th time” and the chance that it would be during the holiday season!

The new platform is a real pain and worth recommending to your enemy.

Think of this …

1. You want to upload a zip and get it unzipped at site : No unzip feature available, you have to open a ticket and it may take 24-48-72 Hrs to unzip a file.

2. No rename feature in file management

3. Backup & restore for big MS SQL files not possible as a product used ‘MyLittleAdmin’ it self suggest to use ‘MyLittleBackup’ and accepts that ‘MyLittleAdmin’ is not good for such tasks

4. Your site is down or had some issues … open a ticket wait for 24-48-72 to get some reply … if not resolved and need additional information or you want to add something … again same time cycle ….

5. There is a 24 X 7 live chat support to assist. Defination of assistance … Can we put you on hold for 4-5 minutes to review your account …some discussion … again can we you on hold for 4-5 minutes … I have escalated this to our tier 2 experts and opened a ticket for you … 24-48-72 Hrs. to resolve …

6. If you get frustrated by now immediate assistance is available @ 75$/Hr.
